I think this the the cheapest it has ever been. I havent bought it yet as I was more interested to know if it is worth the $300 extra price tag compared to VIOFO.

  4k is not worth as the frame rate will be 30fps. 2k frame rate will be 60fps. Viofo A129 plus duo is good.

    Depends though, I don't see 60fps being too useful for dashcam vids? If it's true 4k it should show plates better.

        Probably a faster shutter time would be better for capturing clear details?

      Higher frame rate means clearer number plates when you need to go through frame by frame

      Incorrect. Later firmware allows for 2k 60fps front + 1080 30fps rear.
