It’s almost never worth buying from LEGO.com vs retailer discounts.
Depends on the GWP. A fair few of them have sold for $50+ on Ebay on the past, so if you can be bothered reselling they make for a good discount.
Yep that’s why I said almost never.
But also a GWP for $50 requires postage costs + effort to pack and ship, not to mention eBay taking about 13%. Rarely as good as the discount you’d get at Amazon, Target etc.
I only buy from LEGO.com if there’s excellent stacked GwPs.
@DevGuy: Actually there is one other benefit - Lego mostly package well and your item arrives in perfect condition most of the time (from experience). On the down side, they seem to send via Toll each time for me- and I have not ever had a worse delivery experience than dealing with Toll.

Tracking will fail and you will need to chase this up.
Lego can't be bothered setting their tracking up properly.
I had some SB get through lately .
And I know both have major problems .
