To become a Yogi so OP can steal everyone's picnic baskets

What did the Yoga Teacher Trainer say when they went into the Pizza Hut?

    Make me one with everything.

While certification is not required, many studios want a certified teacher or preferably a registered instructor (Yoga Alliance or Yoga Australia); so if you do want to spend the time training in Goa in order to work in Australia, then make sure the school you go to will be recognised by one of the registration/certification authorities.

If you just want to do it for your own purposes or to run your own studio then whatever (but insurance will probably be higher if you arent at least certified)

why did i think this would be a Pam post?

  • What?

  • Why Goa?

    • PArts of Goa are really beautiful and there are lots of Yoga places there. Other parts are just tourist haunts run by the Russian Mafia and quite horrible

  • A "proper" yoga instructors course needs many hours of work so you need to commit to several months in Goa to do the course.

I'm not sure the qualification would be recognised in Australia and therefore you wouldn't be able to get your insurance in Australia (my partner is a Yoga teacher).

I did classes in Goa & Keralla last year. Keralla was more authentic.
