Printing 3D Cups/Vases. Help Please!

I've printed two cups and it has a leak in it somewhere. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to printing cups/vases. What do you guys use, what settings, do I need to do it slower?

For reference, I've got an Adventurer4. Appreciate any advice you master printers can share.

Thank you!

Generally you'll need more walls + base layers to make it watertight and sometimes even 100% infill. The big problem though is that most of the filament is not food safe and may cause health problems. That's about as far as I got when I looked into doing this

OP should use PET as filament

      • What about PETG or Silk?. I was thinking maybe use a food safe water sealant, but then that would literally run down due to gravity

I meant PETG, PETG is food safe filament.

  • Need pics to see what it looks like.
Also a list/photo of printer settings will be helpful.

Could be; layering, extrusion, infill, etc.

As Dikaiarchos said, might have to make the base/walls thicker.

  • Not a good diea to build drinking cups on an FM printer, the parts are inherntly porous and you will have leakege and hygine issues
