Issues with Kogan Refunding?

I placed an order for a dishwasher in Sep. For some reason, Kogan cancelled the order for me, which is fine. As I used gift card (didnt expect the cancellation), they told me the refund will be credits, which is also fine. However, after two months, I still have not seen any credits in my account!

The experience is frustraing, and it is certainly much worse than dealing Amazon.

I am wondering what is everyone else's experience with Kogan in a similar situation. What am I supposed to do or expect? They use the fuckening message system and i can even 'chat' with someone online (or am I missing something)?

  • First time I used kogan because of free shipping wow what a mistake getting spammed left right and center only ordered a phone charger and it took them 7 days to dispatch it from their website. Next time I'll just use Amazon like I should have

    THIS is really all I can say.

  • Kogan deliberately miselads people with his advertising, I remember signing up for insurance for a kogan voucher, and nothing but crickets. Extended warranty, it's a sham.

    He openly ignores requests from fair trading.
    Basically, unless it's a cheap mobile plan I stay away.

    Only buy from Kogan when it's dirt cheap, but you need to know how to manage them. If you do, you can get great deals instead of endless frustrations.

    Their customer services is sh1t i feel on purpose so people just stop bothering them.

    I had an issue where they locked me out of my account (had $400 credit from their black card offer) and no amount of messaging seemed to work.

    Best option was to harass their Facebook social media page. Got a response in 12 hours and account unlocked after 24 hours.
    It's the only way.
