thanks OP, was just looking to grab this game the other week. glad i waited :)

        • Good move! I usually get notifications of this being free every few months or so, lucky you waited!

  • Would this game work okay with bluetooth earphones/headphones?
I assume there might be some lags…

    • If they support aptX/have a game mode setting then it should be fine.

I haven't played this game yet myself but the game mode on my soundpeats seems to pretty much get rid of all lag.

    • generally, playing rhythm games with bluetooth headphones are a bad idea and will introduce a large delay. a usb-c/lightning converter would be more ideal, but if you have no other choice, there are settings in place to circumvent this. every rhythm game has an offset feature where you can calibrate the audio to be in sync with your wireless headphones. bluetooth headphones typically have between a 200-400ms delay, that would be a 0.20 and a 0.40 offset in-game, and will vary depending on what headphones you have. play around and look for the perfect offset. also, make sure you turn off Tap FX (hit sounds) if you do this.

actually, i just tried this with my Steelseries Arctis Pro, and it was (profanity) amazing. i had my offset at 0.16, and since it was so low i left hitsounds on. most likely gonna use this again in the future. obviously they're a wireless gaming headset, but i imagine if you have airpod pros or later with newer chip and are on iOS, you could also get low latency. i can imagine this would be great if you're commuting on train or bus, without the pain of having wires.
