You're probably right. They probably bake the 711 ones offsite at a krispy kreme factory somewhere whereas the kk stores cook them in-store fresh… Just give it a microwave, you'd be right for this price
That is the same for most. KK Parramatta are all shipped from Auburn.
This is not really true. I can't speak for other states, but I know that in Victoria, all donuts are only made at their Fountain Gate store. So even the other KK stores in Vic have their donuts shipped to there from the FG store. So if you want the absolute freshest, buy from FG, otherwise it doesn't really matter.
In NSW there's Liverpool and Auburn for Krispy Kremes stock and then a factory in Penrith for 7/11.
if you are happy to microwave to "add freshness", and just want the carbs then could consider Woolies cinnamon donuts … $3 for 12 if 7/11 have none left.
If you're happy to prolong the 'freshness' even more, grab some cinnamon donuts and toss them in the freezer. When you're ready for a 'fresh' donut, throw a frozen donut (or more) into the airy fryer for a minute or two. Nice, warm, soft and tasty.
Likely a day (or 2?) old by the time you get them from 7-11
They are same, but not warm fresh due to delivery to 7 El stores. Microwave before eating and you will like them again.

You'll need to be quick… my local only had one dozen box available and they hadn't heard of the offer (had to show the 7-11 facebook page, not the Krispy Kreme one linked above). I wish the head office would let their franchises know about these promos beforehand and stock them up.
They never do. When they do free items on the app, they always hide stuff.

The glaze is always glossy, cracked and watery at 7-11. You want that frosted glaze for freshness.

Went to my local 7-11. Has two 4x packs and 4x loose donuts. But he’s not keen on letting me part with them as a dozen set.
Just put the 4 loose ones it a box, and buy the 12
Just went to the Braybrook one (new one on Ashley) and it had 5x dozen in stock.
I can't imagine there's much stock. They'd only get a couple of dozen original per day.

Years years back i remember going to Donut King just about closing time and buying 8 to 10 donuts for $3. I must say gym and excercise changes you.
Different in where you pick it up (711 vs KK store).
Also the 711 deal is only for a 1 day, whereas the KK deal could have been ordered out to 60days.
My local 7-11 store only has 9 donuts but he couldn’t do it for $9, BUT he said if he had 12, I could have it for $12. Shifty operation.
Update, 9:30pm and I've just finished my 12th doughnut of the day. I didn't want to share with the wife or I would have been yelled at for buying junk food, so I had to eat them all in secret.
