I m sorry for what you have experienced. I have the same feeling with the JB Hifi Ryde store as well, won't go there again.
In case you still want to try some days in the future, you can go there and ask for Ann, she is quite nice and patient. I have bought a few big ones from her so far and it was very pleasant.

Now mine is 65inch, need at least an 85inch to fit in the new living room
For the distance ideally 98inch or projector, but won't bother with such a price for those sizes of TV

The price is around $4200, you can ask in forum for invoices to price match.
Note a lot of qn85a reviews are based on 75 inch, which is IPS panel.
qn85a 85inch is using qn90a panel which is VA panel, so better performance than 75 inch one.

Samsung is good at making TV slim by using quantum dot layer, but annoying with menu ADs.
So other flagship lines are also very slim and frame like, eg QN series Neo QLED TV series is 27mm thickness and flat panel like design.
IMO, better to get QN mini LED TV than this. like QN85a.
I WOULDN'T TOUCH THE AUBURN STORE. There is no reputable salesman in the good guys, They are the rudest most greedy people in the industry. I would rather talk to warehouse people and get them to get the sale.
