Lowest I’ve seen physical was $30.01 via Amazon UK, so practically the same price.
Anyone play this split-screen co-op? Does it play well in that mode?

Yeah that took me by surprise when I tried it online over Gamepass recently.
Not a terrible idea though since it does help to see what your partner is doing and help them out if they get stuck :)Since I can see what the other player's doing, I have to constantly fight the urge to blurt out 'what are you doing, you idiot'.
If you like this, I'd definitely recommend checking out 'tale of two brothers' and 'a way out' if you haven't already.

Works beautifully in ultrawide on PC too
(Pc) I play coop with my wife on a 32:9 49” dell monitor which provides basically a full 27” screen each. It’s an idle screen for split play and all credit to the game for supporting it! Split screen on the 4K telly is not as good imho.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think thats used for the "Friend Pass"? (i.e. joining someone who already owns the game)
I've used the free trial and you can play with another person but it has to be on the same console ie. with two controllers connected. It's fun!

I usually go with physical if I think I can get a good resale or trade-in value. As this game is pretty available via services (EA Play and GamePass) I would think resell would be low and I would go towards digital, personally.

I dunno, btw where is this $45 price point? and please don't tell me from overseas codes through using a vpn, that is available only for new game pass subs. But if you know a legit place for ultimate with that price then I could understand it a little more…but it's still apples and oranges.True, apples and oranges.
Side note, you can add GPU (via overseas Live & convert) to an account with a lapsed GPU sub.
Bought this last week at the $37 sale price and have been playing it with my 13yo son. It’s a really good strategy game and nice way to enjoy some quality time with him (even if he does destroy me in the mini games). Highly recommend it.
Brilliant price. I think I got my physical copy at this price point too.
Generally not a big co-op player, but I've genuinely been having a really good time playing through. The puzzles are satisfying to solve and the fun minigames spread throughout the campaign are definitely a nice touch.
