Double bunk house bed

I am looking to get a double bunk house bed for my kids. Can't seem to find anything good, I saw one on Kogan but not sure if the quality is good on that one.
Any thing under 500 would be good for me.

Not sure what the point of the house design is?

Do NOT buy a metal frame bed. They are nasty things.

DO buy one you can see in person.

DO buy one that the little one can sit on the bottom bunk without hitting their head on the top bunk.

DO spend a bit more than $500 and get a better product.

Just wondering as to why not?

A bunk bed from Ikea that kids used for over 10 years has held up fine, metal build. A very little bit creaky, but very sturdily built. Nothing damaged or broken, and that's with a bit of jumping up and down on the top bunk.

  • This will probably cost a million dollars in a couple of years if it looks anything like a real house.

Don't buy from kogan. Thousands of ozbargainers can't all be wrong:

  • thanks for the input so far folks, I really don't want to buy from Kogan to be honest. However, I am not able to find a decent priced one with the house shape. Also, even though I don't mind modernist shape, my kids want a house shape (traditional) so I am particularly looking for a one similar to one I posted
