It's funny that they think this is worth $73.
They are trying so hard they are even giving away one of their better games with it.

I wouldn't pay more than $20 for this.

    • +3

Yup, it is such a shame for Rstar to release this game with shitty quality in 2021.

    • +1

Rockstar would have already made all their money back from the time they spent on this mess, the set will be $15 in 6 months.

  • Man I feel really dumb for pre-ordering this and actually getting a bit excited to play

    From the OP himself:

the remastered trilogy has reviewed terribly and launched with many issues.

Not only did they de-list the original games so people would be 'forced' to buy the remasters, they also took the entire Rockstar services down because they left some "unintentional files" in it. This effectively meant you could not play any games you bought on the Rockstar launcher. Terrible company, terrible business practices and terrible remasters.

    $73 dollarydoos… nah.

    • How many dollars did you get made from roos ?

I kept trying but got hit too many times then lost consciousness

  • +1

    naaah

  • +2

This is the worst remake of anything, ever.

Not worth it at $1 and even then, you'll need to pay me to waste my time on it.

    • How much you looking for for us at ozbargain to watch you play. Ten hours of this game ?

      • +3

Whopper vouchers and eneloops are accepted as payment

Not worth it at $1 and even then, you'll need to pay me to waste my time on it.

Exaggerate more mate, don't act like you wouldn't be scrambling for your credit card if it were $1.

      • yea nah - No hyperboles here buddy
still wouldnt waste my time on this even @ $1

  • +3

    gtfo rockstar, ur drunk

  • Yeah na, I'll wait until it's under $50. No way should a poorly made remaster cost that much, it's not like they had to make 3 new games.

  • +1

yeah I am not going to use rockstars crappy platform lol

I will buy this on steam when its like 10 bucks.

  • +3

Seriously, why would you buy these when mods have existed for years to improve almost every aspect of each of the original trilogy for current PCs?

  • If it was 37 instead of 73 then would be interesting, hopefully by the time they put them on Steam it will have dropped that low.

  • Is there a playable demo of this? I'd like to give it a try to see if it will be worth buying. PS4 ideally but I'd try it on PC

  • +4

Don't support this terrible excuse for a cash grab.

  • +3

As the game stands now, even $30 which is $10 per game, it is still not a deal. And giving away a game from a list of games that are all pretty old by now, even GTA V is 8 years old now, is a cheap gimmick to get money from your pocket. Years of respect gone down the drain because of one cheap cash grab. You would think such major companies would learn form CD Projekt and Cyberpunk 2077 last Christmas, but nup, how appalling.

  • +1

The original game was a masterpiece. This remaster is kinda joke.

    • how so?

      • +2

See the score especially the user score here.

  • kinda lost a bit of respect for Tmartn2 from this based on the reviews that have come out vs his sponsored 'playthrough'

    • +1

I'm surprised anyone still watches him after he pushed gambling onto children so heavily whilst misleading his audience.

  • gta san andreas plays horribly on my xbox one. It lags and jitters to the point of being unplayable.

  • for everyone planning to get this game, I say forget it, you would be better off playing Sleeping dog instead.

  • but…..i've already played them all. instead of remastering old stuff, why not concentrate efforts on developing a great next installment.

this is the same story with diablo 2, wont be buying that either.

    • Rockstar is doing the work on next GTA and next RDR for sure. This one was outsorced to a company called Grove Street Games, and GSG stuffed it as best as they can.

  • Given the media and patching process, I probably won't bite until this is in the sub $30 bracket and even then, I'll still think twice about whether I really want it on my Switch or not.

The full collection will probably eventually end up on Game Pass if they don't rotate them around.
