    If this is going to be a Christmas present, why would you not gift cash (which can be used everywhere) instead of a gift card (which can only be used for certain products and certain retailers)?

    As little as I use either, and agree with cash as with everyone else, I'd choose Amazon over eBay. Dealing with eBay's support is a nightmare compared to Amazon's should anything go wrong.

    There are so many more things I want to buy on sale on Amazon than eBay nowadays. I barely use eBay except for cheap imported chinese things.

    I love Amazon Gift Card - it has dedicated page in your 'my account' to shows all the history of the amounts in and out and pretty accurate.

      Yeh Amazon is the easiest gift card to use. Just add it to account. Set and forget.
