I think better version (thicker and crunchier cornflakes) of this is like 3.99 in Aldi without any specials.

    • +3

I tried the Aldi version and thought they were a bit average, just didn't taste quite right.

I found the Woolies version to be very good, but I can't seem to find it anywhere nowadays!

Agree, aldi definitely inferior in this case. I like most of their other stuff (definitely not their knock off of Arnott's shapes though)

        • All home brand shapes knockoffs are remarkably bad. I don't know what code there is to crack but no one can seem to match arnotts winning formula for savoury biscuits.

      • It's just what you used to I suppose, I came from Europe and to me Aldi version is exactly what they sell out there and Kellogg's is too thin and tasteless.

Very little Fibre. lot more sugar. 2 Star rating.

    • True but it's simply irresistible.

      • +3

The product is 80% carbs of which over 31% is pure sugar.

If you ever run out or on a tight budget, pour 1/3 sugar by weight on your cheaper plain cornflakes.

        Enjoy.

        • What about the honey, Honey

        • Regular cornflakes are about 8.9% sugar

          • @TEER3X: Wow I can only imagine how they taste without any sugar then…

            • +2

@jace88: Ask hugh above, looks like they grow their own corn and milk their own cows too

  • Just realised no S&S option for me… wonder if that's because I cancelled too many of my S&S after only one order.

    • +1

Don't stress, it's gone into backorder so s&s is removed for everyone.

        Phew. Cheers hamza.
