Cheapest prepaid 365 day setup

Trying to find the cheapest setup for 365 day prepaid for light data usage (100gb is enough). Any recommendations on what to do? Is sticking with one provider better or is churning? What setup is best?

Was about to recommended Kogan as what I use but Catch is cheaper if 85gb enough https://www.catch.com.au/product/catch-connect-365-day-mobil…

    • Thanks! Are there any "new customer" deals that are better or is this the cheapest one already?

I've been using the Woolworths 100GB plan for a few months now and it's been great. If you do a big shop once a month with the 10% off it pays for itself.

usually Catch mobile would be cheapest, but depending on your circumstances, You might actually find Coles Mobile more useful at a little extra cost (like International calling etc. (even using a few times international calling or texting, probably makes it worth that extra price tag)

  • Churning is the way to go, for as long as the introductory rates are so much cheaper than the year 2 rates. It's only once a year so not much hassle.

    • That's what I thought initially but seems like $89 catch deal is the best. Can't find another company with better price even for "new customer" deal

  • I'm with Catch now. 60GB for $89 was the best I could find at the time, 11 months ago. If I recharge it will be 60GB for $120. So off to Coles I go - 120GB for $119.

    • After you join Coles, are you considered a "new customer" for Catch again?

    • Same, but they have offered me to renew for a 25% discount - so $90 for 60gb.

I don't know from personal experience but that seems to be the case for the serial churners here.

  • if u got nuttin to do, churn your way down, stack with cards, cashback and delayed payment

    • Stack with cards?

      • Every Narcicissist here maxes out every cent by using discounted gift cards.
Ages ago I walked into Dick Smith and found the last of a prepaid card for a token price.
It worked perfect, good data speed and wherever there was coverage no complaints.
Since I registered online I did not care about the brand.
Eventually on a forum I found that they shut down due to people like the forum users here splitting pennies.
The hammer came when I ( i am not the youngest) decoded the name: GRL mobile: Girl mobile… And then came Pfizer to the rescue….

  • GRL mobile? Lol
