Where are you located at? Try finding them at your local pets & garden warehouse, as they normally stock them cheaper. Do not get them at specialized pet stores or vets, as the prices are often marked up a lot.
The last time I had to get kitten formula in an emergency, I bought them at the vet for quite an inflated price. However, I found that the same kitten formula (can't remember the brand, but it can be fed to joeys as well) selling at city farmers (a local pets & gardens store in WA) for less than $10.
