    Two fiddy

    • Tree fiddy if it’s got RGB

    • $300 for gtx 1060

I have a real 2c piece I found before Chrissy. This is the smallest OZ coin I have, so it's worth that.

  • any guesses to what it'd be worth?!

I guess, not much, allowing for inflation.

This is what I'd pay up to for the components, used:

    Corsair 16GB (2 x8GB) CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 DDR4 3000MHz Vengea nce LPX Black
    $80

Fractal Design Node 202 Black No PSU
    $50

Asus GeForce GTX 1060 Dual OC 3GB Video Card
    $150

    Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2 SSD
    $80

Intel Core i5 7600 Quad Core LGA 1151 3.5 GHz CPU Processor Gigabyte Z270N-WIFI LGA 1151
    $70

    Mini ITX Motherboard
    $50 to $80

Corsair SF450 High Performance SFX Power Supply 80 PLUS Gold
    $60

For the entire system itself I'd pay $450 knowing for $600 I can get a HP Z440 with a Xeon 6c12t 3.8GHz, 32GB DDR4, 750w PSU for $600 and add my own storage and graphics.

So basically, the OP owns a computer that is worth less than his first post on Ozbargain?

    • You have ASsumed it is working….

You're dreaming if you think you can get a 1060 for $150, you'd be looking for at least $300 in today's market

      • +2

        3Gb version ..fair price
        6Gb closer to $300

      • Not sure why you got downvoted. There has been nothing fair about gpu prices since covid began. More miners, more scalpers. A quick look at ebay and Gumtree shows 3gb 1060 going around 300 right now. Couple months ago even a 1050ti was going at 200+ used (crazy right?!).

I think best bet for OP as the seller is to price them based on current market rate (google around for the used rates of individual parts on ebay/Gumtree/fb marketplace).

If they're still on gumtree at those prices after the first day, they're over priced. Most reasonably priced graphics cards are gone within the hour.

          • @randomusername2017: My theory is that those are snatched up by people wanting to make a profit by reselling or selling as part of a built PC. $150 is still a massive steal right now given it's not easy to find a 1060 3gb listing at that price. I wonder if Gumtree or any similar platform provides some stats on the past sale prices of particular items.

    • Your component estimates are mostly way off.

Hang on, lemme find my record-holding world's smallest violin to trade with

I don't know PC's that well and want you to get what it's worth, but I know a guy, a buddy of mine who is coming into the shop and can value it, he's on his way…

  • +4

    I don't think OP is coming back……

I suggest that you dismantle the HTPC and sell the components separately. I have a lower spec PC (1600x+mb, rx580, vengeance ddr4 2400), sold for 220, 450, 100 and I still get to keep my case and HDD/SSD for a new built.

    • That's a good idea. May I ask how would you prove to the buyer that the component works when they come to buy? Did you have a second pc for that?

  • +7

    I'll pay 10k for it
    just the specs I need

but I'm stuck on an oil rig…….

    • +1

Why don't you ask PayPal to make payment when a courier of yours picks up the item and delivers it to your son for his recent university graduation present. Also, add an additional 2k for the sellers trouble.

Asus GeForce GTX 1060 Dual OC 3GB Video Card

Get the best non LHR GPU and mine while the PC isn't being used.

Market value is about $300 for the GTX 1060 alone according to eBay
