I remember the last time this comp ran, there were certain times during the day where you could get better prices. Does anyone have a similar experience this year what time slots would be best?
I think it was 2 years ago. It was just on/after the hour then from personal experience (Eg 13:01). Tried this year but only got crappy discounts so far

Got a $10 Wine Sip Coin (only valid on certain brands). Ended up paying $4.75 for a $15 bottle of wine (usually $19) less $10 voucher then purchased a $5 BWS Gift Card for $4.75 (RACQ member). Can't complain.
I won a James squire and a Heineken tonight but when I go to redeem either in the app it still tries to charge me. It came up as an instant win so I thought it would be a free bottle. Also doesn't matter how much my cart is $$ it won't discount anything.
Had the same problems last year. They eventually fixed it but your drinks will probably have expired by then.

when in store it works, the app doesn't take the price off but in store it does.
So change redemption to instore, grab the product, go to counter, press activate and a barcode comes up that the attendant scans.
And once again, the 'Something went wrong. Please try again.' errors are plaguing the app on my iPhone…

Just ordering again from another nearby BWS store. We have a drive through and an in store one at the supermarket within 100 metres of each other and another few about 1km away.
It took me ages (over an hour) to find wine on clearance selling for half price ($8) covering the amount of the $7 voucher. I had three $7 wine vouchers so there's $21 of savings.

Also had Miller Chill, Great Northern * 6 (worth $19), James Squire * 6 (worth $22), Island Fever, Cruiser Spritz and Amplys Ginger Beer.
I think the product savings figure also includes the half price clearance savings which would account for $24 for those 3 bottles of wine. They were meant to be $16 but discounted to $8 then used a $7 sip voucher paying $1 each.

I’ve had to force close the app the past few days and then open it again to get the cooler to refresh each day in order to play. Swiped today, got sip coins (again), and had reached the extra/bonus swipe which appeared on the counter, but when I closed the window showing the sip coin prize I’d won, so I could swipe again, the counter reset itself and went back to 0, so my extra swipe disappeared. That’s the second time it’s happened.
From memory you have 24 hours to do the extra swipe. Just closing the pop up window or having the counter reset should not mean you loose it. Have a look around and you should see an option to take your extra swipe with a countdown until it expires. I can’t remember exactly where it is buried but it is accessible after that pop up window is closed.
Thanks for that, I finally managed to track it down. I had to click through to My Cooler on the app, then scroll down and I found the countdown timer and Extra Swipe button there. I had scrolled across through the sections on the banner and clicked on all the links etc within that page, and then it occurred to me to try scrolling down (I'd previously scrolled down on the front page of the app, and of course nothing there) - it's not exactly obvious! Really appreciate the help :)

Yes. A barcode is generated per prize when you choose to redeem instore.
You can only redeem in store one each of the sip types in one transaction. You can then do a second transaction for another of the same sip type immediately after as long as it goes through the register as a new transaction. Similarly you can only redeem 1 instant drink in one transaction at a time but do a separate transaction for the second etc. As long as the register sees them as separate transaction it goes through. Confirmed in store with staff
I had a different experience and claimed 2x free drinks on different barcodes in the same transaction

Tap the word 'cooler' and it will bring up another page with upcoming events/FAQ/terms etc. I dont think you redeem anything for the event, they are just giving away the bigger cooler prizes.
I was trying to find more details about it this morning, but can only see the brief description under the "Cooler' section as already mentioned by @tio001.
