        Yae and reruns

      • +1

        This version, we will see
Ganyu + Zhongli after Shenhe + Xiao

        Next version, rumored
        Yae, Kazuha, Raiden

        • Kazuha, Raiden

I hear that rumour a lot too. Though with all these 5* top hitters being run so close to each other (Hutao, Xiao, Ganyu, Zhongli, Kazuha, Raiden) I'm wondering who they will put up next to beat those sales records.

          • +1

@ChillBro: My guess is either Ganyu-Zhongli or Kazuha. Zhongli was bad on first release, and some people hasn't realize that it get huge buff on first rerun. Ganyu, a lot of people regret didn't pull her, and it already a year since her release. Put Ganyu and Zongli banners at the same time will score Mihoyo a lot of sales. Kazuha was release at bad time, when people getting tired with the old content. A lot of people stop playing and return when inazuma release. Although Kazuha is good (and I think, better than Venti) some people miss the banner.

edit — ups I read your comment wrong. Mihoyo still hasn't release Dendro character, so I think the will give a huge buff on it or put a good element reaction to get a more sales

            • @mfu: Thanks for editing your comment. Yeah I'm guessing they'll add a new problem that only dendro characters can solve. Similar to what they did previously that strongly encouraged shielders.

  • Just updated my Genshin yesterday and this morning, another updates!

Anyone find the game struggle with scences on Poco X3

    • +1

U should go for F3 in stead of X3 for this game.
But to be honest with this game is kind of mobile killer.

    • I can barely get 60fps on my iPhone 13 pro max after the heat throttling about 10 min in so I wouldn’t be surprised.

    • It’s very average on my daughters X3 NFC, but not too bad on my X3 Pro… though that’s only on medium… no idea what phone you need to play it maxed out.

  • how to get to adventure 10 asap?

  • On Asia server and getting 200+ ping. Anyone else getting the same?

    • +1

Try using a VPN to Sydney or Melbourne, that actually improved my ping when I had high latency in this game a while ago.

    • I've always gotten 100ms to the Asia server. On superloop.

    • it's all about the routing your internet provider uses. In my case, I use Superloop which have a direct connection to JP from Sydney resulting in ~100ms ping, but some other providers like to route through countries like Singapore and Hong Kong before getting to Japan, which results in the higher latency.

As others have said, using a VPN can result in a more direct connection, and lower ping. You can try connecting directly to Japan or to a server somewhere like Sydney or Melbourne to see if that helps.

Below 200ms is perfectly playable for me, but I notice that above it, things start getting sluggish in terms of combat (seeing dmg numbers) , picking up items etc

  • Hi guys,I'm new to this game. What's the best server to use in Sydney area? I'm in asia server and it's kinda slow (red most of the time)

    • I think that's the best available unfortunately

If you plan to mostly play at night, there's legit some sweet benefits to playing on the US server.
Since their daily server reset time is our 8pm, they get their updates later than Asia server. So event guides and news are up hours before we receive the content.

I'm in Melbourne on US server and my ping hovers around 220ms. But honestly I don't notice much lag. There's no PvP in the game so low ping isn't that crucial.

    • You can use a VPN to try and get better latency. Connect directly to Japan or you can also try Sydney/Melbourne

Optus is pretty horrendous when it comes to routing, so if I were to use my phone to play it would go through a plethora of countries before it finally reaches the server in Tokyo, resulting in 300ms of ping.

Using a VPN brings it down to about 140ms for me

      • Asia server is in Tokyo. Connecting directly to Japan will result in no change as the poor routing starts on his ISP's end in Sydney. Using a VPN's Sydney server may help them get a better route on some VPN servers (not all, there are some that are even worse).

Switch to an ISP that uses the Sydney - Tokyo undersea cable. Some ISPs that use it are Superloop, Launtel and Exetel. ISPs that DO NOT use it include Aussie Broadband, Optus and TPG. I am not sure if Telstra uses it.

You can also sign up to NordVPN or PIA. Some of their Sydney servers also use the Sydney - Tokyo cable. I get as low as 103ms via this cable.

      • Looking at a TPG connection I can see that it takes a direct route from SYD to TYO, so ping is plus or minus 120ms
so I assume it is using an undersea cable, otherwise I wouldn't know what else it could be

        5 18 ms 14 ms 12 ms syd-gls-har-int2-be100.tpgi.com.au [203.221.3.4]
        6 118 ms 110 ms 122 ms ix-xe-1-1-2-0.tcore1.tv2-tokyo.as6453.net [180.87.181.192]

if anyone else wants to ping / tracert the genshin servers to diagnose latency etc

        Asia (Tokyo): 47.91.24.239
        TW/HK/MO: 8.209.245.30
North America (Somewhere along the east coast of USA): 47.252.29.148
        Europe (I think it's in Frankfurt - Germany): 8.209.112.253

        • This must be new. For the longest time it routed via North America - good to hear they have finally fixed their routing.

      • Telstra ping is also 200ms ish don't use them. I want to know if future broadband is good for it though.

Aussie BB also average like Telstra when it comes to connecting to Japan.

I have Surfshark as VPN not sure if that would improve connection but I don't need it atm

    • I'm on Telstra, Asia server, no VPN or anything else etc, 140ish ping. It's always yellow, I've never seen green before!
