Sound Republik Bluetooth True Wireless Set (2 Pack) Wireless Headphones and Wireless Earbuds $25 @ The Reject Shop

210

Cheap price for a kit with both a pair of Headphones & a set of Earbuds. Would suit young kids for schooling or people using them to listen to lectures etc. I don't think the quality would be great, but it's hard to find something that has both and a warranty in this price range.

I have personally use Sound Republik headphones whiles my Sennheiser's were being repaired and they are not the worse. I found them slightly better than the cheapest $20 pair at the time K-mart had. The Reject Shop will also happily take returns for the first 28 days on most items (as long as you have the box etc).

NOTE: This kit contain both 1 set of earbuds and 1 pair of headphones. The product is also a new limited time special under their back to school sale

“ I found them slightly better than the cheapest $20 pair at the time K-mart had “

    $5 better?

In all seriousness, you could get a far better pair for a similar (possibly cheaper) price on eBay such as Helios (TaoTronics)

Read the deal mate. You'd be looking at $40 for the cheapest earbuds and similar headphones at K-mart.

Feel free to share where you can get both a set of wireless headphones and a pair of earbuds with a rechargeable case that have a 28-day change of mind returns and a 1-year warranty that can be purchased from a physical store and I will happily remove the deal. These aren't aimed at audiophiles (even though the headphones aren't the worst with music), they would suit kids, audio lectures or audiobooks and hand-free calling for someone wanting a cheap alternative to the more expensive ranges out there.

I'm a sucker for cheap headphones (already own an x2hr before someone tells me what I'm missing out on) so might give this a go

also reject shop uses doordash as their delivery method? that's crazy I've never seen other retailers go down that route.

anyone know how to check for stock levels or do i just have to go to the local and hope for the best?

    • I would ring the store. Keep in mind you can return if not happy (not sure how it works if you pay via doordash).

  • Does anyone know how long the headphones and earbuds last on a single charge?

    • manual says 3-4 hours on earbuds and 5-7 on the headphones

Alright I went to get it today and here's my thoughts.
preface i own x2hr(open backed) and beats solo3 as mentioned above

headphones: out of the box, it feels very light and the headband would be tight for bigger heads (alright for my average head), made of plastic, over ear so it cancels a bit of background noise. comfortable and clamp force ok
soundwise: felt flat at first but after applying equaliser it becomes decent, not the best but a little above bearable. has 3.5mm jack

earbuds: decent seal bc it had earbud tips, actual decent bass with equaliser, bit scratchy but not too noticeable, i quite like how it has a touch control on the sides like airpods pause/play/volume

final thoughts: look at the price you're paying, I'm happy with the sound it produces, one gripe is that they're both named the same generic number so you gotta change that in settings on your phone but apart from that, I'm not disappointed, thanks for listening to my ted talk, any questions lmk
