Shure MV7 Microphone

Hey guys - using this forum for the first time for this purpose.

Been looking to get a bargain for this mic for aaages, no dice. Looking at procuring at upto $249. Any bargain hunters who care to help? I’m in VIC if it matters.

Note that I’m after the MV7 which is the USB/ XLR version not the MV7X which is XLR only.

  • And we're done: $238.66 at Amazon + cost of Prime Membership or 30 Day Free Trial if you haven't already used it.

  • Thanks for looking but sorry mate that’s the MV7X - the XLR version, I’m after the MV7 which is the USB/XLR version.

Link to the one I’m after: https://www.amazon.com.au/MV7-Microphone-Podcasting-Voice-Is…

There’s also the silver colour which is $299 - ideally I’m after the black for a price of $249 or lower.

Ah yeah, looks to be more expensive across the board. Best price is $299 @ Manny's.

Coupon Code 20FORME takes off $20 off bringing it to $279. Not sure about shipping costs, but they have a store in Melbourne if you're close.

  • Yep!

    • Check update with Coupon Code.

  • Thanks for your help! Might still wait till the black goes on sale - but good to know this is an option :-)

Thank you again! Still looking for a black MV7 mic for $249 or below (as per last deal on OzB)

    • +1

I think you'll be lucky to see that price again. It was only on sale for 2 days out out of a whole year+.

If I were you I would set a camelcamelcamel alert just above your required price. Make sure to select Amazon.

  • Sounds like a good product then. Might press the trigger on the silver if I come to the end of my tether. I already created an MV7 alert on camelcamelcamel. It was discounted twice last year as per OzB - June ($199) and Oct ($249).

    • I guess it depends how urgently you need it. Weird that the $199 price isn't showing in the camelx3 history. Wonder why that is… maybe via Amazon UK or US, but that usually gets stated in the OP or comments.

Do you sing, podcast, stream or other?

  • Used to sing, now just have cash burning a hole in my pocket, it’s only for work from home and then I’d be claiming the tax back on it - sold my Yeti which in all honesty was absolutely perfect! I thought if I want a mic why not go all out and get something close to broadcast quality even though it’s really not worth it for my purposes. Maybe I’ll reconsider the whole thing, I don’t at all need the quality.

    • now just have cash burning a hole in my pocket

Then get it for the $279 posted above, is waiting 6 months to save $30, and not being able to use it that entire time, with it?

      • It’s the silver. I want the black.

        • Same question still applies, bit with a higher price differential.
