Belong Mobile - data banking when reducing plan size

I'm about to move a service from Woolworths Mobile to Belong. Keen to start on the $25 pack and then downgrade to the $15/month one.
Am I correct in assuming any data left over from the 1st month (20GB) will simply rollover to be used on top of month 2 data ($3GB)?

I read this in the terms:

Can I change my data allowance?
Where you reduce your plan size we won’t refund any money or
remove data that you’ve already paid for on the higher data plan
for the current month.

    Yes data rolls over indefinitely.

Yep you’re correct - the data from month 1 will roll over (I’m with Belong!)

    • That's pretty good. Quite often these sort of rules don't apply when you downgrade.

      • You'll lose the current double data promo (acitvate by 13th Jan) once you change the plan.

$35 value pack is of better value, $17 @ Coles. Maybe downgrade from the 3rd renewal if you have a $45 one bought before.

In addition, I dont think you can buy this type of item with eGC @ Woolies now.

        • Thanks - I got a $80 starter pack (which gives you $100 after activating with a referral code). I though the best way to maximise data over a 6 month period for a light/medium user would be to start on the $25 plan and then use $15/month for 5 months (assuming 20GB + 5x 3GB = 35GB would be enough for 6 months).

          • @bozbargain: OK. $80 SP is ineligible for double data promo anyway.

Yes unused data from previous month will rollover to the next month and you can data gift too. Love these features. The whole family is with Belong but I am currently looking to port out to Circles.Life
We've been with Belong for a few years and never had any issues until a year ago.
Their reliability is shocking. They said Telstra does not give them the full network service. Anyway it's ashamed we have to port out. Their customer service and data gifting has been very useful though.
