    Hey OP, Delayed shipping available?

    • No delayed shipping sorry

      • +2

That's a bummer. I'd like to avoid premature shipping.

  • +1

Inglewood beans are delicious. Their beans are always freshly roasted. Highly recommended!

  • +1

My preferred blend (over Sunset Blvd). To my taste it is just that bit more earthy and complex. Wish coffee wasn't getting so expensive…

    • +1

its your taste buds getting expensive, lol. you can buy garbage stale coffee for cheap at any grocery store.

  • These are delicious, I still have a kg from boxing day.

    • -2

      They would be getting stale

      • +2

I've had decent success with freezing coffee, I tend to do it when I order a few kilos through these deals and they do stay fresher than sitting out at room temp.

Obviously better to order freshly roasted beans as you need them but freezing is defs an option.

        • +2

100%, bag is in freezer and will pull out tomorrow. Not as good as fresh but not bad. I actually started freezing them after talking with Inglewood.

      • +11

😂 beans don’t go stale in 2 weeks. Where are you keeping yours, in the compost bin?

        • +4

If you're not grinding them straight out of the roaster and drinking within 30 seconds they're worthless! WORTHLESS!

          /s

  • Worth more than double the price of Aldi single origin beans?

    • Yes, buy 'em and see.

    • lol

yes, any local freshly roasted whole beans beat anything sitting on the shelf collecting dust. use it within 2 weeks, its a game changer.

      • +3

I ran out of my freshly roasted bean and I tried single origin from Aldi, roasted date written on pack and it was roasted about 10-12 days from the date I bought it, so not much difference considering shipping time.

        • Never seen a roast date on aldi coffee single origin, only a best before

    • I buy Aldi when I need urgent hit, but these are next level and nice treat If you like aldi beans. Goes with any coffee, need to get grind right

    • 100% yes.

But I do recommend buying what you will consume in 3-4 weeks, I find a kilo is a LOT for an individual to go through.

      • +1

1kg a month here and I have two cups a day double shot and it just about goes the distance and sometimes over by a week. That's not excessive usage.

Good coffee, bad spam. Subscribed on 21/9/21… I've had 58 spam emails from them since then.

    • +6

      Unsubscribe?

      • No doubt, quite surprising after I counted them up.

  • Coupon "roosevelt40" does not exist!

    • +1

      Starts tomorrow

      • +2

i am from the future, so that explains it. i will try again tomorrow on Australia time. thank you.

  • The free shipping on 50$ is a deal breaker for me :s

  • What is the brew ratio? 1:1.5?

    • +1

      As per the product description

      BREW RATIO – 1:1.7
      DOSE: 21G | YEILD: 36G | CONTACT TIME – 28 SECONDS

      • I like how they put the guide. Makes a good base to profile.

Just curious but do stores ever mention about PI or FC when pulling a shot?

        • We generally start looking at pre-infusion if the coffee is less than 5 days old. It helps degas fresh coffee which helps with extraction.

If a coupon falls in the woods, and no one is able to use it, does it make a sound?

  • Any chance on discounted pods again?

Family members have a nespresso so I'm trying to wean them off cheap low quality non recyclable pods. Full price won't convince them though (obz runs in the blood)

  • How does this compare with Vittoria Coffee beans which are available at woolworths? I usually buy it when they go on half price.

    • +1

Wollies Vittoria beans probably sitting on shelves for few months. Would struggle to get decent crema! Probably may hide it if drank with milk.

  • Still saying code does not exist.

    Can you please fix rep?

  • Code is not working

    • Starts at 10am

      • +1

Thanks, they could have added it in the description

      • What timezone?

  • Hey OP, which grind would be used for Turkish Coffee? Espresso?

    • Espresso grind

  • Been slightly disappointed with Inglewood's shipping & customer service/response time last few times I have ordered.

    • same experience here

      never again

  • Does OP or anyone else know if the packaging it arrive in suitable for freezing, or should I put the coffee in another container? I have freezed whole beans before but not ground, is it also ok to freeze ground coffee?

    • Store in airtight container for freezing

      • Thanks, also do you know what grind size is best for a percolator? Was thinking stovetop, makes most sense to me.

  • -2

Been trying for the past 5 minutes on both PC and mobile to buy, won't load. Terrible. Still!

  • Site is OzB’d. Not loading.

  • No free shipping for me. Site took a long time to load, but 1kg for $38.50.

    • Same here

    • @angusmclachlan

I get 1kg a month fresh roast, all single origin from TwoCracksCoffee at Margaret River WA $40 delivered and in 3 years I've had one batch that I didn't really like.

This month's just arrived today(I'm near Byron Bay) and it's an organic Ethiopian washed bean from the Guji region, light roast, Heirloom varietal, cupping score 87, roasted on 31/12/21.

They only just put up their price from$35 to $40 delivered. Quality product every month.

  • Finally got my order in incl. free shipping.
    Had 1440 bags left!

  • Good deal

Does ozbargain have a preferred coffee grinder?
    Preferably something less than $150
    Thanks

    • Not many grinders under $150, check this recent deal, would be your best bet. Grinder deal $215

    • I personally would stay away from any (electrical) grinder < $500 for espresso, however, any conical/flat grinder should do for v60/filter coffee.

The Baratza Vario is a great entry level grinder for both filter and espresso, though unfortunately it’s not within the $150 mark

  • Why only google autocomplete and one line for shipping address?

    Can't use my parcel locker.

  • Anyone near 2121 wants to pool to avail free shipping?

  • Website not loading

  • Probably not related, but y’all use grinder cleaner between different coffee beans?

    • nah, should I?

  • Im new to coffee, bought Lavazza Qualita Oro from coles and its actually quite nice. So am I reading that Aldi is much superior to Lavazza and this one is much superior to Aldi?
What is the path that I should follow?

    • Try these, they're great beans. I got converted to Inglewood during Lockdown #1 (wow, so long ago). I've never paid more than $37.50/kg as they regularly have special offers which is great value, and they've been consistently great each time.

I actually prefer Sunset Boulevard blend though.

    • You can try and let us know what you think. End path is freshly roasted beans used within no more than 4 weeks. Do you grind at home and if so what grinder, which coffee machine you have and how you drink your coffee, black or latte/cappuccino?

      • Ah I see and I guess the coles ones are unlikely to be freshly roasted.
Grind at home using a kmart grinder.
No coffee machine, just cold brew for my arvo hit. Speaking of which 😁

  • Anyone in Victoria received their order yet?
I had my order in depot(xpresstoyou) since Thursday.

Their tracking page not much info too, just showing time and date of P and T ? Which kept changing everytime you try to access the page
