These should be good, the RAT boxes I saw were from where the virus was made in the first place. But go on, lets abuse our leaders and not theirs.

    • Right, only thing is our leaders are the ones in control of the response here. Placing blame has largely be done with all the diplomatic grace that Scotty has. Various exports suffered as a result and were replaced with products coming from the USA.

There are also Australian developed RATs which are yet to be approved here. That's almost entirely in our government's control.

    Negged for fear propaganda

  • For Canberra folk.

ACT Health has secured an initial supply of 10,000 RATs that will be available from 10am to 4pm 14/01 from the Kambah testing centre. These tests are only available for people who: have COVID-19 symptoms, are household contacts of a confirmed case, are at high or moderate risk of contracting COVID-19; and, have been instructed by ACT Health to get a test.

  • Glad they banned plastic straws here, had to make room for 2 million RATs to end up in landfill.

You'll be even more annoyed when you try to finish a Maccas coffee frappe with a cardboard straw and it fails after you've consumed 25% of the drink

    • yeah tests for a once in a lifetime pandemic during peak outbreak are sure comparable to plastic straws bro

      • Once in a lifetime haha!

        • You're right, it's once in a hundred years. The average lifetime is less.

  • Vic kicks SA butt giving 5 out for same circumstance .
Note no one has posted the great deal I think/hope :)

Getting tested is more trouble than what it's worth. The new Covid protocols from now on are: Live normally, if you get sick - stay home, if you get real sick - go to hospital, get better, go back to step one.

  • I worked with someone for a while day and wasn't even considered a close contact 🤣

  • Which BRAND are they providing?

    It is 95% effective???

Made In Australia is one of the worst :(

    Anyone know?

It seems it’s easier to get a RAT than an ambulance in Adelaide. Noice.

    • +1

My RAT is: Can I breathe? Yes. Ok passed test.

My ambulance is the Uber app on my phone. 7 minutes away, can track onscreen and if you offer a $10 cash tip, Sanjay will punch orange lights AND help drag your body into emergency. Many paramedics won't even put down the defibrillator to light my smoke for me.

Ikr it’s the worst when they won’t help a fella out like that. They’re too focused on their shiny zappy toys and need less screen time, they’re always looking at that line game that goes up and down and beeps like mad.

PS you’re doing it wrong if Sanjay is dragging your body into the ER

Emergency parking zone is technically drop off/pick up only. Not as strict as the airport but he can't afford for patients to be taking their sweet time getting out at the Lyell Mac.
