  There seem to be cheaper listings on eBay for clippers only that look the same (e.g., $13.99,$15.85).

  And here is a similar/same kit on eBay for $19.99

  And a similar kit on aliexpress for $17.63. It's also offering me a coupon that brings it down to $14.84.

  In any case, I suspect you're going to get what you pay for with these.
