The size really does matter for these objects.

    • Are you saying this one is too small?

    • Really? The one my sister bought me is humugus. I don't use it because of how massive it is.

The square basket shape seems convenient. My round one is a bit annoying to fit things in.

Solid 77% rating from CHOICE, especially for cooking performance (a bit lower for ease of use as the 30 minute timer dial can be a bit imprecise). Tefal also make their pans dishwasher safe, which is a plus. Hard to go wrong with this price.

    • Guess it depends on ones use case. I can't recall ever cooking something for 30 mins or longer on my previous one. So this was an easy buy. I looked at Philips range of airfryers and they are apparently awesome for roasting but are expensive.

Have had this one for years. Highly recommend. Only issue is how dirty it is… too many chicken nuggets 😉

The flavour accumulates! Like a cast iron pan?

        You should see my bbq!

Many reports on the non stick coating on the mesh bottom being very thin and coming off onto your food.

  • I bought it to make chips and its not crispy at all. its wet. anything wrong? or the fan is not strong enough?

    • I just microwave the chips first then throw them in to crisp. That's what these things are good for. High temps in low low times

    • I put mine in for 18 to 20 minutes. Ensure good browning. Soggy chips indicates low cook time.

  • I had a $10 off code on Afterpay so its a sweet deal.

This thing heats until the timer expires even if you remove the basket. The only way to stop the heating process is to turn off is from the power point. Also its not obvious from the pictures but it is two toned black and beige (only the front is black).

I prefer my cheap Kogan one with a broken handle to this in both looks and performance. I think it is heavily discounted for a reason.

    • Can't you just turn the timer off? 🤔

      • The timer is a taught spring which you can force back to zero with some effort which suggests that frequently repeating would cause the mechanism to fail.

    • Does your Kogan have steam function?

      • I am not sure, does this?

        • Looks like No.

  • How does this compare to the woolies one?

And what is 800g to litres? is it bigger than 3.5L?

  • Price shows as $229 for me. Has the deal expired or am I doing something wrong?

Yup expired, it was still showing $99 not long ago…..looks like I missed out

      • That was fast.
