It’s that time where my eBay plus is due… thought I would request to cancel & see if anything was offerred to keep me… have been offerred a $30 EBay voucher…
I’m tempted to continue with cancelling to see if anything better is offerred, but at the same time don’t wanna lose the offer of $30…

No, that's the best imo, especially if you use ebay a lot. I had something like five or so late shipping vouchers and a return paid for that would have been costly upfront (car parts).
Ours recently expired, shows $40 as bonus for joining on top of page (think it is 30 days expiry)

Hrm will probably just take the $30 offer… I normally get at least $19 worth of benefit over the year with all the random crap I’m buying off eBay for the kids (or myself lol) so not a bad deal.
WARNING.
I was offered the $30 credit when cancelling just before autonrenewal. I accepted and then received an email on the day of renewal confirming autorenewal.
Autorenewal didnt process and I am now told that unless I screenshotted the offer they will not honour it!

Pretty sure I did the same last year & didn’t have any problems getting the voucher.
I did this recently thinking I could double dip with the $40 sign up voucher, but I think this only works if you cancel and sign up again before the expiry date of your original membership, which I didn’t do. I would renew for $70 all up but I could use a holiday from buying all that useless crap from eBay 😉
UPDATE:
After not honouring the original $30 offer and waiting nearly a week for the return call that was supposed to happen in at most 3 days, a new offer just popped up for $40 credit. I rang Ebay and confirmed I could get this new offer. Clicked and paid and have a $40 voucher.
Nice. As it turned out I forgot to go through with the $30 offer, eBay plus renewed today… spoke to support & they cancelled & issues a full refund…
Was hoping they would offer me a ‘pls stay’ offer, but they didn’t… so now will just wait it out and hopefully get emailed a ‘come back’ offer.
Did not get my voucher last year despite clicking the links and being told they would email it to me 10 days after membership renewal, so just cancelling this year as I definitely don’t get $50 worth of value from it
Similar situation to imp; eBay offered me a $30 voucher when going to cancel but I declined and still cancelled.
Within a week after my subscription ending, they are offering a $40 voucher upon signup (cost of $49)
Yep I’ve just signed back up based on a $40 voucher offer in the app.
Was sure to screenshot & also actually screen recorded the whole process, just incase the voucher never arrives (which is hasn’t yet).
You used to be able to get both offers but they have apparently closed that loophole.
Don’t they just cancel it if you go all way
