I mentioned this deal in the other thread but wasn't well received as Haribol doesn't support HDCP

usually people not happy with 4K@30Hz (this one 4K@60Hz) and now HDCP hehehe tough crowd

  • +2

heads up that the 4K@60Hz hub only does 100Mbps ethernet. Fine for most people for internet, but if you have any local network devices like a NAS, its quite limiting

      • Wow nice work, it's almost like there's a Spamazon pandemic.

  • Do you need to connect it to a power source? or can you connect it to say (Mac mini) and just use the USB ports as HUB and the HDMI for a second display?

    hopefully yes

My Haribol 8 in 1 hub has broken after about 6 months of occasional use (the cord or plug is faulty, won't register a charge or HDMI on my laptop) - will see how these guys go about honouring warranty.

That said, their new cheap white 3-in-1 with a claimed 4K@60hz seems like a good price. Must be the same OEM as the similarly priced Kmart model
