I was scrolling thru the shorts on sale last night and laughed at the the $160 original price for G Star denim shorts and then found these Paul & Shark for $149 on sale, down from $215. Firstly, who is Paul and Shark and secondly, who pays $215 for a pair of shorts?!
They use same material 😁
i'm not that into jeans, but for $300 and above, i'd be expecting selvedge denim.
even at $63, i'd probably stay clear of this because of the no returns condition, unless you've worn g-star before and/or familiar with their sizing and fit.
The listing states "Sale items CAN be returned".

Also in the 'where did you get the no returns from' camp. This isn't Myer.
The returns policy has changed in the past so that instead of no limitation as to when you can return items, it's now 60 days. This includes sale items.
I bought a pair of these and they arrived yesterday. Be aware the material has quite a weird feel to them, the best I can describe is that the denim feels kind of wet. Might not be to everybody's taste.
They even look wet in the photos 😕. I was thinking they might have more elastane in them but 3% is pretty standard for a slight stretch.
I heard that these brand jeans were once in excess of $300+
