  • Comes up as unavailable for me. Is this specific to locations?

    • Change to store locations. Looks like its just unavailable online. I just picked one up in-store.

    • Working out the woolies website for out of stock delivery items (for click and collect) is an art form. These have been $49 for around 2 months. The 3.5L version is between $19 and $24 depending on store.

Digital air fryer: It cooks with the power of super heated 1s and 0s

is this is a small air fryer?

    • Perfect for frying up small fries!
(But in all seriousness. Breast chicken in air fryer is pretty good.)

I'm interested. It says "easy to clean", but is it really? Or is it only easy if you have a dishwasher?

    • +2

If the basket is built similar to the non-digital version of it, it is easy to clean.

You wash the slotted plate in it like a regular plate and you wash the basket like it's a pot - as hard as that. Ie. you can rinse those two parts under the tap and use regular soap and utensils.

Thanks for your detailed answer. I had thought "basket" implied a wire basket, but I was mistaken. They should put a picture of the basket on the outside of the box, so others don't make the same mistake!

  • Thanks OP - just went to a local woolies and got one. Ran a 10 minute cycle on 150 with lemon slices to test and get rid of any smells as recommended by instructions from a different air fryer. FWIW it seems fine although it's quite a bit louder than my kmart 7L one.
