Does Amazon AU Suffer from Fake Seagate Drives?

I noticed a lot of alerts from Amazon US from people returning and swapping out shucked drives. Is this just an American thing?

Has anyone suffered this problem and has silently decided not to report it?

      They fixed the problem for me and I was refunded. Apparently someone is shucking the high TB drives and replacing them lower TB drives…

      It's also mentioned on datahoarder, but I was thought this was only an American thing. Turns out it wasn't.

    Yes, I ordered one fake seagate drive and received 1.5 genuine ones. Clearly they have stock issues with their fake supply.
