I know last year they had the gold edition for the same price but good luck getting that now lol.
is this a bad game? becaues they seem to be wanting to get rid of this hard?
It's an ubisoft game.
It's good if you like sandbox and sneaky-sneak gameplay (although you can go in guns blazing or combat drone takeover if you want to). I enjoyed recruiting/picking characters with different skills but as others have said, it means no main character to connect with. For me it was a load of fun and the world felt very 'lived in'.

Like Daff said it is an ubisoft game. They always go on special after a year or so.
If you like Ubisoft games then this is the same. I love Ubisoft games but I always buy when they hit $20 or so, never at launch and never at full price. Next on my watchlist is AC: Valhalla and Far Cry 6. As soon as they hit $20 - $25 I wil get it.
If you don't like Ubisoft games then skip this one.
AC valhalla was 9 dollars for the ps4 and ps5 physcial versions at target during christmas you missed out. I also paid 9 dollars for that game :D

This post reminding me I still got this game somewhere in my drawer when I got it for this price also last time.
I enjoyed this game I'd give it 7/10 nothing special but it's by no means a bad game like some people are making it out to be
I finished it, but was pretty bored by the end, i'd give it about a 5. If you want to kill some time you could do worse for $15, but it isn't a great game. The problem for me was, A: The characters felt way too over the top and "hacker", and B: due to the recruiting mechanic, there is no main character, meaning the story feels real disconnected and there is no narrative tether to draw the audience in.
I also enjoyed this game and played through the whole thing. It was fun choosing the characters that I wanted to play as, rather than being stuck with preset characters like in Watch Dogs 2. The hipster doofus wannabe diverse hackers were very annoying and I couldn't stand them for more than a few hours.
Almost at the sweet point of $5, I'll hold a little longer
