Listing deals - changing how many you can view with out pushing "next"

yeah,

sometimes I don't chekc out ozbargain for 24 hours so maybe 3 pages of new deals has been added.

I'd like to have the option button of the number of deals I can view with out pushing next.

something like "view last 100 deals" or "view deals of last 24 hours" etc.

The New Deals page always shows 20 deals per page, and it's just a matter of scanning through the new postings over multiple pages. Front page also tells you what's most voted deals if you only manage to check OzBargain once every 24 hours :)

I can't see either "view last 100 deals" or "view deals of last 24 hours" useful…

Essentially the "view last 100 deals" is just faster than flicking through 5 pages. e.g. when i search ebay i'll change it to show 200 items per page, just makes it more convenient and faster to scroll then to load a new page each time. So i aswell might like to see that option added to ozbargain.

      • yeah, that's what I mean.

Theres an extension to chrome and firefox called AutoPager, its amazing, and just loads the next page below the current (without loading the banners etc).

It uses rules for each site, and as far as i'm aware theres no rule for Ozbargain, but it shouldnt be hard to figure out.

Its a great extension and always works for google, ebay, and pretty much every forum i check.

  • just checked it out, and there is a rule for ozbargain, quick instructions

right click the 'Ap' icon on chrome (top right), options, search online for rules for [insert ozbargain domain, or click options while on ozbargain].

Click install on the right one (obvious).

    Voila

  • There is also one there for the 'deals' page.

    Cheers imaximax1, works great.

  • altomic: Can I suggest you to use Google reader and subscribe to the site, that way in a single look you can tell new deals from old and you can choose how many deals to see..
