Swoop Broadband - Able to Cancel Easily?

Hey, just wanted to find out anyone on their 2 months free offer was able to cancel easily, as read the t&c's and didn't see any notice period or anything special required to cancel.

Hence wanted to confirm if anyone has tried to cancel and how it all went?

  • I just opened a ticket in their portal. They asked for some info. Then agreed to cancel. There is no notice period.

        • I opened a support ticket and they tried to call me but i didnt pick up. Will call them back tomorrow

          • @Homr: In my case they asked me a handful of questions by answering the ticket. I answered them all, then they confirmed the cancellation.

            • @[Deactivated]: Thanks, I did the same and my service is now cancelled. I answered the questions on the support ticket instead of calling them. Easy process, happy with the 2 months free internet.

  • Sorry for the offtopic: after connecting to them got a fraud transaction on my bank account on the Christmas day.

    • sorry to hear, that's why i always use CC. and since finding revolt i use virtual CC which is unlimited, awesome, so perfect for first time offers you don't want to continue which you may forget to cancel.

    • You can just setup BPay if you like. You don't have to give them any payment details at all.

      • I initially declined to give them details via phone.
        But the guy on call said the only option.
        And there are no other options.
