[RESOLVED] Meross Garage Door Opener - Push Terminal on Garage Opener

Hey there guys,

Does anyone happen to know how these orange push button suppose to work for me to push the Meross garage door opener sensor cables? I tried gently pushing the orange button but it didn’t budge and I am scared to push it with force. I saw another post in forum but my button seem different to that one.

I am pretty much a noob when it comes to DIY electrical work. I have attached some photos of my garage door and the push terminal I am referring to.

The images turned itself.

Any help is appreciated.

They aren't push buttons, they are likely spring headers that you can press slightly , allowing you to insert a wire into the terminal holes below (and when released, the spring pressure clamps down on the wire)

You could usually force a wire in the terminal hole enough for it to grip without pressing them

Your manual should indicate which two terminals need to be bridged for an external push button trigger (which was the meross unit does)

    • It says GND and AUX. just to be sure did you mean I need to press both the orange buttons together?

      • No, it pressing on it should simply reduce the pressure required to push the wire into the hole beneath.

        • Okay. I will try again. Thanks.

        • Thanks mate for the little confidence. I pushed it harder and it just went in and locked itself.

  • Google "garage opener GDO-11V1" and read the manual.

    • I read the manual this morning. Didn't see anything about these push terminals.

They were in the first manual looked at.

        • I know which terminals to be briged. I just dont know how to push the wire in those two terminals. As the wire is not sticking in there.
