I have tried so many different pods. The best one is Illy coffee pods which are almost never on sale.

      Available @ Costco $57.99 for a box of 100

      https://www.costco.com.au/Grocery-Household/Tea-Coffee-Hot-D…

      • Sure beats Amazons $2 per pod. What's the next cheapest for those of us who don't live near a Costco?

        • +1

Maybe try this…seems some ppl offer Costco delivery service

The L'or and Moccona nespresso pods can be had for approx. 30c a pod when on sale.

        • Where would I find these $2 pods?

Have never seen Amazon or anyone else selling for this price…

          @AustriaBargain

Can't beat These for price ..i reckon its an absolute bargain.

The hot chocolate ones are great , one of the coffee flavors is pretty weak (sorry i can't remember which) but the other 2 aren't bad at all.

I subscribe to www.urbanbrew.co as they are roasted/made in Australia so less foodmiles and my $ are going to a small business instead of some global corp.

    • +2

Illy ones are the best for sure.

    • From memory I’ve been these been on special from coles or woolies?

    • https://ibb.co/Js0pzrG 99 cents for a box….. where I'm at! 20 bucks is crazy.

They are doing 20 packs of lor lungo ones for 2.99 also down at the spud shed all in date

    • I like the St. Ali ones at Woolies. But they are 80c / capsule and I've never seen them on sale.

    • I picked up some Illy pods from Woolworths and tried both flavours they had, I don't think they taste any different to the L'o'R pods. Maybe a little milder in flavour?

I've tried Starbucks coffee capsules in my Creatista. They are OK, on a par with most major brands, but not as good as L'or.

    • +3

I'm running low from the Amazon L'or deal and need to get more. L'or would be great but is too pricey at the moment

      • +2

Me too. I'm on my last box. I don't think I can do Starbucks but that is a good price for it tbf.

Nice tried a huge variety of Pods and Starbucks House or Verona are my pics. L'Or so disappointing…

  • I've ordered Starbucks pods twice now and found both times they were quite destroyed on arrival. Would not recommend ordering via Amazon.

    • Yeah I have these on subscribe for about a year now so they get delivered once every month. A few times they came crushed (usually only a few pods that are crushed, the rest are fine). I jumped on live chat and they offered to refund straight away.

    • I tried the Bailey's pods and found some of them broken. But they taste too good that I don't mind. They are kind of bitter and sweet at the same time.

    • mine arrived fine

  • +1

Thanks. My coffee pods are running low from the previous L'Or deal. I also like the Intensity 11 from Starbucks. But, L'Or is better

  • I don't like Starbucks, too bitter for me.
L'or and Nescafe are both my pick if I have the money.
The Coles brand nespresso compatible are pretty good for like $3.

Paid the same in Woolies this week. Rather support them vs Amazon

Verona is my pick, can't find anything I like from Nespresso since Dharkan was discontinued.

Only $2 off RRP price, not really a bargain.

When the product is $6 to begin with it kind of does…

  • I have lattes, can you really tell the taste difference? I'm not very refined.

I have successfully ordered the 250ml Coke No Sugar on top of coffee capsules, each on separate order for $4.32 using subscribe and save. This is an excellent deal. OP should update title to include the 250ml Coke No Sugar.

  • On a vertuo system and I don't like how i only have to buy them from nespresso and pay delivery fee on top of the already expensive pod, unless i don't know anyone else sells them ?

    • +2

No, nespresso only at least until the patent expires in 2030 I believe.

As for shipping I'm pretty sure they are free shipping if you spend $100 or more, also you could do one of the subscriptions to get a bit better value for your $, I think they give you an extra 10% for your money and free shipping if you do it that way, can cancel anytime.

    • +2

This is why they basically try to give the machines away, it's a complete rip just like it was before other manufacturers could make the original Nespresso pods. Nespresso sold them for 80c-$1 each from memory.

  • +2

Bought 5 blonde roasts. The other ones are not to my taste at all but the blondes are close to a shop coffee.

  • 42c a capsule is OK, but you can find cheaper (like L'Or at 30c on specials).

    • +1

      terrible coffee that Starbucks.
If they're Cafe-brewed coffee is crap - imagine their pods.

  • It would either be SnS or free coke.. right?
    Wrong.. you can..

  • Eeww Starbucks

  • I've smashed my fair share of nespresso compatible pods, I find the Moccona ones for sale at Amazon for approx 30c each the best bang for buck. Taste as good as any, including these.

  • how much are the pod machines
