Nice way to extend QFF expiry date

    • +15

If worried about expiring, just get qantas wellbeing app, set a step goal then you get free points each day.

Or you could just use Qantas shopping:
      https://shopping.qantas.com/
… and buy something for a few dollars on Ebay, etc.

Slightly off topic - I don’t earn many Qantas points but I have my point set to auto rewards and I can see I have 2 digital gift cards issued May and November 2021.

When I go to “download” the gift card, it just refreshes the page and doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried my PC and my phone, different browsers, but still the same thing. I sent an email to Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre in November but no reply!

Anyone else had this experience with auto rewards?

    • +1

      No.

Check your E-mail for "Just landed: your latest Auto Rewards Gift Card" on the date(s) in question

When you click on the link in the E-mail it should take you to:
      https://giftcards.woolworths.com.au/viewEgiftCard

On your phone, the Vouchers should be in the Downloads folder.

Also, I think it can auto-load into the Woolworths Money app if you have it on your phone,,,

Cheers mate. I searched my emails but no email with that subject. I’ll have a look into the Woolworths Money app

A bit of waste on points though. The conversion rate is essentially 0.66.

    • +2

That's a terrible waste of QFF points

    200 points roughly worth 20c

    • +1

      $2

      • Gift cards are the only legitimate way to turn QFF points into cash? So it's worth about $1.30.

        It's about (one-way):

        • 2.5% of a regional QantasLink flight
        • 0.28% of a business class seat to somewhere in South-east Asia
        • 0.13% of a first class seat to the US

        Pre-pandemic point cost.

    • Hey for some people their time is worthless

  • Thanks OP 😊

  • Targeted? Couldn't find any information about the promotion.

  • yeah cool - cos I didnt it last month I dont get any points

  • Has anyone managed to transfer existing ALL points to Qantas? It seems that transferring points was once possible (Eg. https://help.accor.com/s/article/how-can-i-transfer-my-le-cl…) but this appears outdated, or possibly a regional limitation.

  • +2

Points came through for me tonight

    • Thanks for the heads up; confirming I too got my points
