    This is not great..

Go to a private window, Google TM Lewin, you will see CT shirts for $39.95, click the shirt and you will also see 5 shirts for $199 with Free Delivery, shop as normal.

How see-through are these white shirts? My dark body hair is pretty stark against my pasty manflesh and it’s usually visible under a white dress shirt :)

I have a few, and I'd say the herringbone aren't too see-through, but I'm not the same level of hirsute as you.
Also recall their return policy is pretty liberal - and free - so maybe check that out. It may have changed.
They do have a page which describes all their weaves.

But whatever you do, get the non iron type. Life changing.

      • Their returns policy is awesome. You can return them up to 6 months after purchase.
Apparently you can even wash them and still return them within the 6 months.
        CT Returns policy

    • The one I got is more see-through than I anticipated

    • Stay away from the poplin then. They are the "thinnest" lightest material.
The best seller is the twill - looks good, feels good, and is the best weave for non iron in my opinion
herringbone and oxford are a little heavier and offer more texture.

In addition to above offer; if you have student beans you can stack with 10% + free delivery (if you don't want to buy 5 shirts; i.e can get 3 for ~$108 delivered)

    • how can you do it? cause no place to put promotion code at check out with Doweeyy link

      • +2

I managed to do it by having a private window with doweys link, set up the cart with a logged in account; then in normal window also login to same account; the same cart will load without the price discounts but the promo box will appear; then enter the promo code there. Go back to private window - refresh and the cart will be updated with the discounted price (despite not showing the promo code)

        • Thank you so much, it works now. I will call them to cancel the previous one

  • I've found Spier and Mackay shirts are the new best value. More expensive but higher quality.

  • Do you guys get these shirts fitted at a tailor?

    • No mate, that would cost more than the shirt.
The things you need to get right are your measurements (neck & sleeve), and the "fit" (or cut).
Once you've found the measurements which fit you, then my experience is they are very consistent. Your cuff length and throat comfort level (if you wear a tie) will stay the same once you land this.
You can vary the "fit" after that, depending on how figure-hugging you want it to look. But that's more of a fashion and personal body-type issue.
So the return/exchange policy is kind of handy for your first order. The 5 for 199 that currentfad and doweyy tagged above is actually pretty good - you could get a decent spread of sizes/fits/fabrics and then exchange them as needed to get what you like. 40 bucks a shirt is very reasonable for these.

  • I cannot find where to put promotion code in. It is weird with the website

    • It seems the direct link from Doweyy make the promotion place on the website gone. It seems odd

  • They used to be $99 for 3 with free shipping
    Then $99 plus $20 shipping
    Now this?

They are nice shirts but I'll hold out until the $99 for 3 comes back

Hardly worth a neg? The OP addresses this in the post itself.
