  Yeah, I got one for $500 about 4mths ago @ JB. Pretty average PQ out of the box, but great once tweaked.

    Yeah I bought one of these about 6 months ago for around $800.

    All you need to turn off auto brightness/contrast in eco settings first, otherwise the display looks dull and washed out - after that the picture quality is pretty much second to none (no bleeding like you get on a lot of current generation LED sets).
