No Idea about HqHair…
I got mine from Asos towards the end of last year. It was $120AUD for the boho chic kit which included the gold classic styler + the heat-resistant bag and two hair partitioners. Asos had already reduced them to ~$150AUD and then I used a 20% off voucher.
Perhaps search some of the expired ghd bargain comments, I seem to remember people discussing hqhair there.Thanks and how long did it take for delivery?
I've ordered from Asos many times before and delivery has always been within 2 weeks. Fastest delivery was just over a week from ordering.
Bought a GHD IV about a month ago from leonbrant.com.au after hours of Googling. Cheapest I've found: less than $200, with choice of 2 FREE hair products plus FREE delivery. All arrived within a week, no problem. I wouldn't get GHD from eBay, apparently lots of fake ones out there. FYI, Leon Brant is GHD authorised stockist.

Yeah, I did exactly the same search … but … Leon Brant is based in Brisbane (details on their website), so I used the 'Salon locator' on the GHD website and type in Brisbane … and BINGO, Leon Brant is one of the GHD salons!

GHDs are one of THE most faked products out there, and buying online is really risky. Go with an approved salon like already mentioned.
Also make sure to check the item on the GHD website to confirm that the hologram is genuine (although the better fakes are also spoofing that as well!)

Last year I got a GHD for my mom from xmas from hqhair and it was all good! Came just in time. Took almost 4 weeks.
But my friends have been buying from look fantastic and feeluniqe. the other uk distributors (that are genuine). Feelunique only had a 2 to 3 week delivery time. so that was good. And I could take off the UK plug like the one from HQHair
