Hi all, I'm looking to get a portable washing machine to use in my backyard or garage for washing dog towels and sheets. I've never used one before. Could it even handle washing things like that? Which is the best budget-priced model to get?

I need something smaller as I already have a washer/dryer for my own clothes (and my young child's) inside my small place. I have power but no taps in my garage. I don't drive so going to the laundromat is very time consuming.
You could go to the laundromat.
An alternative is the trough. I agree a mangle is hard to find so you could spin dry in the normal machine once washed in the trough. Perhaps a reasonably priced washboard could be sourced if required?
You should use google to find sites that cater to people who have caravan and ask there.
Just put them in your normal machine.
Just buy a second hand machine from Gumtree or Marketplace. Most portable machines are designed for RVs or caravans, and will be on the small side.
