Hello all, recommendation for freestanding 60 cm dishwasher around 500 bucks.
Shortlisted 2:

Suggestions from these 2 please?

Though most dishwashers do have adjustable top rack, it usually has 2-3 different positions
I stupidly didn’t measure our new plates, and they’re .5cm too big for our dishwasher. So I have to hand wash them

Had experience with a couple of Haier dishwashers. They are junk. If you get one, plan on replacing it not too long after warranty expires.
I have always bought 2nd hand and never had any issues
I just picked up a practically brand-new (you can still buy it from Harvey Norman) Smeg dishwasher for $125. It had a ridiculously noisy hinge (which was an easy fix) and I reckon they were just looking to get rid of it and replace it

Beko BDF1410 (has 5 yrs warranty and 10 yrs motor warranty - don't know about their warranty honours) also has good reviews but slightly over budget around 650ish. Anyone used one these?

With this kind of budget, your options are extremely limited, pretty much whatever you can find for that price. They're all more or less the same on the lowest tier.
Still on the lookout for a Bosch series 6 (or 8) on sale for a decent price. Been waiting months

one thing to look for is whether your current plates fit into the machine.
at my previous house I bought a machine and my maxwell and williams plates were too large for the main drawer.
just a minor consideration to think about
