  • Scam. Don't trust this stuff, trying to leech of your credit card.

  • For skin care, the most important thing is turnover.
Other than using sunscreen religiously, there are really only two products that work.
Vitamin A/Retin A cream. Get a prescription from your doctor. Use at night.
Vitamin C serum. you can make your own, look online. use in the morning.

To remove as much dead skin as possible, do it in two ways that should ideally both be used. Skin peels. Get one done using a voucher, then order the liquid on ebay and do it yourself. The other way is microdermabrasion. Best is with a really good machine because it sucks on your skin and removes dead skin and other crap. Second best is at home with a glove and or salt with a bit of oil mixed in or some commercial cream.

The beauty business is pretty evil. A friend of mine used to page through women's magazines and point out nearly every advert to me for skin creams that promised something or another. She literally believed everything she read. A marketers dream.

Botox really does improve your appearance.
Ipl helps. Fraxel laser treatment was the best thing I have ever done for my skin. I got full face done for $200 at clearskin clinic in Perth. That was in conjunction with a voucher. Painful and a few days of "downtime", but just fabulous.
I have had radio frequency stuff done on vouchers and I reckon that with a good machine and good operator, they help the underlying muscle tone.

If you have acne or know anyone who does, I would try out the Clearskin clinics treatment where they appear to be able to destroy the specific pores that cause acne. I think they stick a probe in and zap it. They have had vouchers off and on for $89 for this treatment. I think you might need 3 or 4 treatments depending on severity.
