        Lol this isn't ebay. Amazon pack their products properly and have own drivers. They don't get shoved into a auspost van.

        Plus If anything is wrong with product simple free return.

          @Jklaro: I’ve had Lego from Amazon turn up with just the shipping label on the Lego box, no outer box, left on my doorstep, and I’ve definitely had Aus Post deliver it. It really just depends. 9/10 it’s not an issue though.

            @Gregors510: Yes and that one issue is a free return. I love Amazon they beat out any store in my eyes.

            Return policy is unmatched.

          @Jklaro: So having bought 100+ sets from Amazon I think I have some perspective.

          And some of their "uber" style drivers are so lazy that they leave the box outside the front gate (i.e. the naturestrip), or force a small parcel into the back of the letterbox.

          They're no better nor worse than ordering online elsewhere ime.

          So again - perhaps a squashed box.

            @DevGuy: This set would be put inside another box. No chance fitting in your letter box.

            For me no problem leaving at front door.

            I've ordered 100s of items never had an issue.

            But again if I did simple free exchange or return.

              @Jklaro: It was a general statement in response to "Amazon pack their products properly and have own drivers", citing two recent problems.

              And if you like your parcels left out the front gate in the street, good for you. Perhaps your front gate is your front door.

              EDIT: I'm still waiting for them to get more classic batman helmet sets so that I can return my totally squashed set that arrived a couple weeks back. That wasn't a letterbox job, it was just a regular squashed outer carton.
