Is "Touchscreen Polish" Different from Regular Polish?

Hi,

Unfortunately in my 2 years of wearing my Galaxy Watch Active 2 every day, I finally managed to get a scratch on it in the last month of wearing it, before I upgraded to the Galaxy Watch 4.
As I'm looking to sell it to a friend of mine, I'd like to polish it so it's in like new condition again, as it has absolutely no other marks or scratches on it. (And I've got a spare OEM band to put on it)

So I have a question about polishing it, is there actually any differences between phone screen polish and regular glass polish?

Reason I ask, is because I'd rather not spend more for a touchscreen polish, when someone I know already has regular glass polish that they are willing to lend me.

All the best,
Drayton95

Just try toothpaste and a smidge of water rubbed in with your finger in a circular pattern.

    • I'll give it a go tonight, thank you

Don't focus the rubbing on one area (ie. the scratch). Rub the complete screen surface evenly.

Yeah, one is made with snake oil as the base lubricant. I think you already know which one.

    • Is that different to oil based lubricant for my snake? I'm confused.
