Which Credit Card Is Best for Making International Payments or Transactions (in USD or GBP)?

I need to make some payments internationally. Some of these are for purchasing goods and others are for services. I was wondering which credit card would be best for paying internationally in other currencies (mainly USD, some might be GBP)? My preference would be for a card that has reasonable conversion rates, low/no international transaction fees and low/no annual feels. Is there anything else that I need to consider while finding an international credit card?

I have never researched this and don't have a thorough understanding of the field so I thought I should seek help from the hive mind.

      Just be aware they make it hard to pay the credit card- you can only make 1 transfer from direct debit say every 5 days.

    I use CBA Low Fee Gold Card. It has $89 Annual Fee that is waived if you spend $10,000 every year. Apart from that there's no international transaction fee and exchange is handle by MasterCard so you can check rate in real time. 28 Degree is cheaper since there's no Annual Fee but the CBA one has cashback offer as well.

    Could look at CBA Ultimate if you will be spending over AUD$2.5k per month, otherwise the monthly/annual fee is a killer.

    CDC has no interest, no late fees, annual fee and no credit checks if that matters to you.

    There is also 1% to 8% cashback depending on the tier.

    Wise (previously TransferWise) debit card. It's prepaid, but offers the best conversion rate that I've seen. I signed up when the cards were free, I think they're $10 now, so that might not be the most cost effective solution.

      As at the time of writing I checked AUD > USD
      Wise: 1,000 AUD = 707.80 USD
      MasterCard: 1,000 AUD = $715.37 USD
      And don't forget you also pay a fee with Wise.
