Tefal Ingenio - Stainless Steel or Titanium?

hi, wondering if anyone can give a review on their experience with these cookware sets (even better if you’ve tried both)

I have a gas cooktop and limited space (hence would like the removable handle option)

I've had my eye on these a little while now. While I don't have experience with that exact set, I've used Ingenio pots and pans at my partner's place a number of times, and I've been happy with them. The handles are not as "solid" feeling as you'd expect brand new pots and bands to be, but they don't feel at all unsafe to me (and they feel much better than most pots and pans do after just a few months of use). The non-stick treatment seems fine, but I expect they're no different to Tefal's other pans in that regard. The lids don't quite site down when the handles are attached, but that doesn't bother me at all. Overall, I think they're an excellent compromise for the space saving, and I'm planning on getting a set (probably the 13 piece one) for my apartment when I see the right bargain ;)

Note, the 13pc set is slightly cheaper ($228.48) at Amazon

    Cheers.

We've had Ingenio for over 10 years. I can strongly recommend for the removable handles, our 2 still going perfectly.
I've never seen a non stick coating last more than 5 years. We replace frying pan every so often.

  • I still use a 30 year old cast iron frying pan.

Nothing beats it. Well seasoned :-)
