External Monitor/s for LG Gram 14

I have an LG gram 14 inch laptop.

I was wondering if this laptop would be able to drive 2 external monitors and what the limitations would be? like 4k or 1080p? Size of monitors?

They would be primarily used for online courses with some youtube etc.

Ideally, I would like to plug only one usb c cable in to charge and connect to the monitors at the same time.

I've got a budget of about $400 per monitor and I will probably end up buying one and upgrading to two later down the track.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I went through a similar exercise and found there were 2 main of approaches:
1/ daisy chain 2 monitors together and have one feeding usb c to your laptop. You'll need to make sure it sends enough power to charge the laptop. I've done this for my wife.
2/ buy a display docking station. the particulars of the docking station will determine what resolution will the monitors can be driven at. I've done this for myself.
Dell is a good place to start if you want to understand the products and pricing. Good luck with the research.

This laptop can drive 2 4k displays (Thunderbolt 4). If you only want to plug in one cable, you will need a USB-C dock that supports the resolution of the monitors you want to use. Or you can use monitors that support daisy chaining (example: https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-ultrasharp-27-monitor-u…)
