If you order from chemist warehouse expect it to take a month for them to process it to picking and delivered, still waiting a month for stuff I ordered a month ago.

Same with my order, waiting for a month. They just emailed me that some items are out of stock and will be sent from different dispatch centre on a later date AT NO EXTRA COST TO ME.

Anyone know a good brand I can get for the 'tough strips' style? They used to really stick on super sticky and would last days if I forgot to take them off. I've recently tried both Band-Aid and Elastoplast. Both seem to have cut costs, the don't stick on as strongly, and the moment water touches them they fall off (even the ones that say waterproof). I'd pay ten times the price if I could just get ones that stuck on as well as the old ones used to…

I agree with you, they have really cut corners and don't last a day for me especially if a bit of water gets near them. There is the type that basically is like strapping tape with the bandaid part in the middle..that works well and stays on till you want to take it off. Watch out for hair of course…

      • So frustrating, I wish they'd just provide a 'premium' version of the product and just charge more, it's not like I go through a lot of band aids, happy to pay much more for them for a better product.

What's the one you are talking about that's like strapping tape, can you link me that one?

  • Finally, a subscription for Band-aids for all of us with questionable safety standards

    • My kids go through a box every few weeks 🙄

  • Is there any benefit of fabric band-aids over plastic?

Fabric ends up dirty, stickier, and hopeless under water… so why would people buy fabric?

    • I find they stick on better through sweat and water

    • And the sweet erotic pain removing from hairy parts of the arms and legs.

  • I'll ask the obligatory OB question, are these ok for dressing minor cuts and abrasions with?

the 50 pack fabric at aldi are $1.99. They are good.

    • Is that standard item or a current special buys?
