Was looking for a budget wireless headset for conference calls that would also work for gaming.
Came across the Steelseries Arctis 1 which JW Computers was selling as an ex-demo for $98.45, which seemed a decent price if not a bit icky (since other people's hear holes had been in them).
However I found that Centre Com was selling new ones for $99 with free shipping which is much better and avoids the ick factor. Surcharge applies for select payment methods.
Next cheapest I can find is on Amazon for $139.94

      i use them a lot (up to 3 or 4 hours a day) and it gets me about 4 days. you can also use them plugged in when they run out of batteries. i reckon i cant go back to wired headsets anymore

        oh yeah definitely im still using a cheap wired headset.. sades 708sa gt and i notice the wire every day but not having to recharge is nice but sometimes you want to run to the toilet or get a drink and that sound cue your game is starting might a nice to have as well as just being able to walk around your room doing stuff while listening to music.. looking for a nice cheap wireless headset but with extremely long battery life.. don't really care too much about sound quality just average is good enough for me

  I picked up this headset for myself and two sets of the Microsoft wireless h/s for the kids. The Microsoft headsets provide much better sound.

  This is a great headset overall for the price, keep in mind that the dongle is USB-C, but there is a USB adapter included.

    Yeah I originally put it in, then went with the Ozbargain recommended auto title and missed that the "Headphones" part was missing, probably due to me being too lazy to read it properly.

    Shouldn't have been. On the Centre Com site it said it was on sale. Also I got a notification already saying it's been dispatched.
    Possibly low stock coupled with being Ozbargained

      just looks like price has reverted to $199, so seemed odd they'd change the price simply because it's sold out

        Yeah a weird one.
        There was definitely a red banner stating that it was on sale till Monday 14th at 12AM which is no longer there.
        I got a second notification today, this time from Australia Post, saying that my item from Centre Com is currently in transit. So if a pricing error then at least they are honouring it I guess.
