Bloodstained sucks so badly. The level design is so poor. And having just played ender lilies and Metroid i know what I'm talking about

Disagree. It is very similar in that regard to the Castlevania titles that it is essentially based off (being the same Designer and all), and solidly enjoyable if you're a fan of those.

Having said that, I'm unsure if the Switch version is worth grabbing - it had very poor performance at launch, and while I've heard they improves it significantly I've not personally tried it since (played PC instead).

    • I've played heaps on the PC. I will admit it was pretty damn slow going in the first few hours and I had actually put it down because of that. But when I came back to it months later and played on, holy smokes, I was hooked. I found it very very very good.

  • Ni No Kuni for $14.35 is excellent. I bought it last year, and put a lot of hours into it.

Mario + Rabbids is surprisingly strong - XCOM-like (or XCOM-light, perhaps?)

Phoenix Wright trilogy is good fun. I've played through the first two games, and will pick up the third story again, but Hades is consuming my attention.

Paid $13.98 for ror2 previously. Amazing game.

  • Oof, bought a physical copy of Cyber Sleuth for 44 this week.

  • Anyone tried Tetris Effect Connected, wonder if its just purely visual or if puyo2 Tetris 2 is a better choice

  • Quite a few DLCs on sale:
    https://www.dekudeals.com/recent-drops?filter[type]=dlc&sort=hottest

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (which includes the Torna prequel game) and Splatoon 2 (Octo Expansion) DLCs would be my personal highlights.

Unfortunately, there's nothing in this sale that's currently on my wishlist (that I don't already have).

    • Any chance you can try that link again? I find it terribly difficult to navigate dekudeals for DLC sales

Unfortunately the square brackets used by Dekudeals break the hyperlink function here.

Just copy and paste the whole link above. Or after you open the Hottest Deals (or Recent Deals) page, click the Filter button, then select DLC (which is where I got the link from in the first place).

        EDIT:
        Actually, try this

        • That link worked perfectly, thanks!

  • going to need a larger memory card for my switch

  • Is God Eater 3 any good or is it discounted massively for a reason?

    • Been out for a fair while so that's probably why! Heard good things about it, not super duper amazing but still fun apparently. For ~$13 it's well worth it.
